Giving and receiving

It’s time for us to turn to each other, not on each other. – Jesse Jackson

I am profoundly struck by the above words especially in light of the worlds current circumstances. We turn to each other and at minimum two things happen. We are acting out of humility and seeking assistance, or we are acting out of compassion and offering our help. Often, both things are occurring simultaneously. By seeking assistance we are creating an opportunity for someone to practice being kind, by offering help we often come in contact with our own limitations and finite abilities, this offers the opportunity for humility and thanks.

Take care of you and all you love.

  1. Yes indeed, giving and receiving the act alone says it all. Balance and harmony. Growing exponentially by love’s superpower strength. When I smile (with my eyes bc of the mask) at another, I hope they are reminded of their own humanity and grace. Sharing with others the love we have inside is the greatest gift of all. Separation from one another is the greatest illusion there is. Outstanding post Bryan 😊
